Welcome to my photography web site. Photography has been a life long hobby. I was born in Kansas. Growing up in a farming family gave me a visual appreciation for both Agriculture and the great outdoors. I think that's why I love landscapes so much.
My main interest is in photographic prints. I love photography because its fun, like an adventure, but it is but one element of the craft of creating a beautiful print. I love the entire process of preparing art for living and working spaces. For that reason, I use digital media only as a representation of the image, certainly not as beautiful as it is on canvas.
My goal is to produce artwork which gracefully compliments all aspects of a room design. I embrace a designer friendly style which involves interesting subjects that may stand alone as a central feature, but more commonly in coordination with other room design elements. To achieve this we look for clean compositions and beautiful soft colors or simple black and whites. This room friendly style never gets old.
We can't emphasize enough the importance of professional framing and good lighting. Every piece responds positively to consideration of these two aspects.
